Criss Angel escaped from the imploding Spyglass Hotel on Clearwater Beach on July 30, 2008. Things didn't go as planned (or did they?!) for the illusionist. He was supposed to escape by helicopter from the top of the roof, but alas, he didn't make it in time. However, he miraculously appeared out of the rubble after the dust had cleared. It makes for good TV, anyway. The show was broadcast live on A&E, where he has a regular TV show called Mindfreak. Whether or not you considered this particular one a cheesy stunt, he is still a great illusionist. Enjoy this little film (1st pic) and photos on the event.
