With over 300 kangaroos of 9 species, the Kangaroo Conservation Center has the most concentrated number of “roos” in the USA. Set on 87 acres, the animals have plenty of space to roam around in, and their North Georgia setting mimics the natural setting of their native home of Australia. You can take a walking tour or a tram tour to see these wonderful creatures, and catch glimpses of a “joey” (baby Kangaroo) hopping in and out of his/her mom’s pouch. Animal encounters and shows are available at certain times.
